Pink Drinks arrives in Haruru
A smaller than usual crowd arrived at John and Mike’s for the very first Haruru Pink Drinks. Rugby? Quite possibly – as at least two well known cohorts admited to succumbing to the TV and a bottle of beer for the evening. A great night was had by all, with Mike’s cheesy ball and John’s chicken wings proving particularly popular.
You may well ask what the discussion was about is in the following picture:

Next month’s Pink Drinks returns to Kerikeri. Make sure you’re on our mailing list to be notified the details. We will also be sending a survey around to our current member list for ideas for future events. Please respond and contribute your ideas!

Gay in the Bay’s current committee members are handing over the reins after several exhausting (but fun) years of organising events. We are meeting at 3:30pm this Saturday before the official start of the Haruru Pink Drinks. If you’d like to contribute ideas and become involved in developing the activities of our local GLBT community, turn up a little early and make yourself known – all welcome.
